The Latest!

Every time I come home I get a rundown on what Lil Bit has destroyed while I was gone. And there's something new everyday. I got up this morning to my brother telling Bits off for eating his sock, after he left his door open when came out of his room for just a minute. Of all the things she's gotten to yesterday was the winner. When I got home from taking Joe to work, Mom showed me a thin strip of wallpaper that Lil Bit had pulled of the wall. Now it's not funny but it is at least to me. LOL Now that piece had to be loose because it came off perfectly it didn't tear or anything so we can put it back up.

This dog is so sweet, but she's a little maniac too. ;-0

She's learned to sit and wait her turn for treats, she's learning not to run out the front door when I leave. Otherwise she has to be locked in her crate, because after I'm gone if Mom goes out to smoke Bits tries to run out and find me. She hates being locked in her crate, she has a tantrum you can hear outside with all the windows shut. ;-0 But she likes to go in her crate and sleep sometimes. She likes Sunshines crate best though and we find her sleeping in there a lot.

Miss Scarlett comes to the bottom of her cage at least once a day and chats with Lil Bit. Bit barks and makes howly growly sounds and Scarlett talks to her. It's so cute. ;-0

She is very cute! I hope she stops chewing up things, soon. That can be annoying, but her little face makes it hard to be too upset! LOL

Thanks Jamie & Joy. When we tell her NO!! or chastise her, she just looks at us like "What?" LOL

Lil Bit and Scarlett's duet sounds like it would make a great video! You could submit to that funniest videos show.

Julie, do you ever see the Jerry Seinfeid bit about how animals interpret what we say? It's hilarious. We're scolding them and they think we're saying that they didn't chew the drape thoroughly enough, lol.

We can' win! Good luck with Lil Bit...

Suzanne,

When I speak to her she looks at me as if I'm speaking cat. LOL Today is an onery day, everytime I turn around she's doing something to tick Mom off. ;-0

One day I asked Miss Scarlett if she was teasing my dog. She said,"Yeah." LOL

I just love the photos of your dog! Dante was like that until he was 2 1/2 years old. He destroyed the stuffing underneath the cushions in my couch. One of my very thick books by Charles Dickens is full of teeth marks. He did stop eventually.

Hildie fortunately doesn't chew things she should not even though she is a puppy. But...the more comfortable she feels in her new home and our cat, the more she wants to play with Buddha. Sometimes Buddha even instigates the play sessions but she can be a bit too boisterous/aggressive sometimes.

Hildie loves her crate although she was terrified of it her first night home. We fill up one of those Kongs with peanut butter and she only gets that special treat in the crate. Now at a certain hour she gets restless if she is not in her crate with her treat!

I agree...I think it would be hard to be upset for long looking at her cute face.

It sounds like Hildie is doing well. Lil Bit wants to play with Sunshine & Louie. But Sunshine doesn't really know how to play she never learned. And Louie is just too old and sore. ;-

Lil Bit really has learned some commands but, she's just so onery. LOL
