More on Lil Bit

All this time Bit has been locked in my room at night sleeping with me. That didn't bother me but having to chase her to get her in there did. She's been really good lately though, we leave her alone in the living room in the afternoons for a couple of hours. And she hasn't been getting into anything. So the other night she got to sleep in the living room with the big dogs. She was very good, and didn't get into anything until Mom got up. LOL She's a big girl now and can sleep with the other dogs all the time. But she's still not big enough to be trusted in the basement. There's just too much stuff to chew on and too many places to hide. ;-0

Now I have told you all about Louie and his howling and the way he talks in the howly, growly way. The other day I was getting ready to go out and run some errands as I came through the living room, Lil Bit pointed her little black nose at the ceiling and howled at me. LOL It was so cute, of course she has a much higher voice than Louie, he's a bass. ;-0 She's starting to talk like he does too, when she wants something. She sees him get a response when he does it so now she's going to get in on his deal.

Very cute! I love hearing of Lil Bit's. We took the door off Hildie's crate and she is really good at night...but sometimes she sneaks downstairs and brings something upstairs like a shoe. She doesn't chew it so I guess she just wants something that smells like us in her bed so we gave her one of Glenn's old T-shirts for her bed.

We have never heard Hildie bark yet. She has growled at a chair that did not belong in her home and she makes noises when she gets excited about going for a car ride. So far Buddha and Hildie have not influenced one another except to make each more confident and they love to play together. Merri

Lil Bit has learned that when Sunny barks at Mom in a certain tone it means they all get a treat. So she assumes her postion. LOL She used to try and grab but, she's learned that if she waits she gets one too.

Bit is very vocal, just a minute ago I had to check out front. She was barking at the door and coming to tell me to look. I didn't see anything but a couple of birds. It was probably the kids next door.

I'm glad Buddha & Hildie get along so well. It's so cute wanting something of yours in her bed. Bit still chews if she can get away with it. But she's not quite as bad.

Do you ever try howling with them? Whenever a fire truck or police car goes by with siren blaring, that always gets my two going. I occasionally join them, much to their consternation. I like to think of it as a bonding experience. :-)

Oh yeah, Louie I used to have a nightly howl all the time. ;-0 Sometimes he howls with Joe, he loves it when we howl with him. Bit hasn't joined in on one of those yet though. ;-0
